Did someone say pizza? Katie & Stephen's micro-wedding in mid-September was a beautiful reflection of their bubbly personalities and their love of their family.
Their families were involved in every aspect of the day-from the flower girls to Katie's grandfather serving as their officiant. The kids in attendance played lawn games in the mild September sun, and couldn't get enough of our antique Ford tractor, which is original to our farm.
Katie got her glam on with the help of Linette Cerrone Simone of Lush Beauty (@lushbeauty518 on Instagram). Her bridesmaids and family made good use of the bridal suite and adjoining spaces to prep for their big day. Katie and Stephen had their first look right outside of the barn, and the joy is palpable in the photos.
Deacon Vince Meyers, Katie's grandfather, officiated the ceremony overlooking the pond and willow grove. The Florist at Mandy's Spring created arbor sprays, bouquets, and centerpieces with bright pops of pink and seasonal flowers.
After the ceremony, Stephen and Katie snuck away for some golden-hour photos overlooking the forested hills and countryside of Granville, NY. Elsie Goodman Photography captured the lingering afternoon light and framed the couple among the willows and native grasses.
Dinner was a casual affair, with wood-fired pizzas served by Pies on Wheels. In lieu of a wedding cake, Stephen and Katie sliced their very own personal pizza. A baker by trade, there were no shortage of sweets made by Katie herself (check out her business, Cookie Jar Kits). A cheesecake, cookies, and even cookie pops for each of the bridesmaids decorated in the bright pink hue of the day.
Events to a T manned the bar, serving up signature cocktails and refreshments into the night as guests danced to music provided by After Hours Entertainment.
It is evident what a fun-loving couple Katie and Stephen are, and it was such a pleasure to work with them to make their day truly unforgettable.
